Maverick was founded in June 2002. Since then it has managed to become the trusted PR consultancy of blue-chip companies and respected organizations like Airbus, Carrefour, Citi Indonesia, Coca-Cola, Credit Suisse, Microsoft and HM Sampoerna.
The key to its success has been to maintain focus on what clients in Indonesia need most from a PR consultancy: a capability to help strategize communications programs with sound analysis and advice; and an uncompromising ability to execute these programs on spec, on time and on budget. Maverick, in essence, delivers clear thinking and clean execution.
This focus is reflected in the range of services the consultancy provides. Maverick specializes in crisis/issues management and brand communications, whether it takes the form of corporate social responsibility programs, marketing PR, new media strategy, or media relations.
Maverick also has two support services. The first is in training where it provides clients with skills in crisis management, media handling, interpersonal communications and PR writing. The second is provided by Gauge, a division within Maverick that provides innovative online media tracking services as well as PR measurement.
In addition, Maverick is the Indonesian affiliate of Kreab Gavin Anderson, a global financial, corporate and public affairs advisory firm.
